Luke 2:1-20  Luke unashamedly proclaims a whole new era of permanent peace that was to be ushered in by the long-promised Messiah whose way would be prepared by John the Baptist. Pastor Tony reviews the prophesy of Zechariah recorded in the first chapter of Luke and others in the Old Testament regarding the long-promised Horn of Salvation.

Luke wrote “an orderly account” so that those of us who read his gospel might “know the certainty of the things you have been taught.” He recorded the miraculous births of both John the Baptist and Jesus the Messiah.
